scifirenegade: Herr Veidt lying down on a sofa. No idea what he's thinking. (connie)

Did I cry upon knowing about the existence of a new restoration of Ingmarsarvet? Yes, because I thought there would be no way of seeing it, unless you go to those rare, rare, expensive screenings.

And then I just get slapped with the restoration on on Pillowfort. Just like with Landstraße und Großstadt earlier this year. And yet, I still haven't found evidence of Connie's brief stay in Lisbon (on tour, doing the play Er). Maybe I'll get that randomly show up on my dash on New Year or whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, squees were squeed, links were shared, I may have considered joining Connie's character's cult. But it's available on this Swedish archive.* The website is slow as sin (then again, library websites, archive websites and internet archive websites are being destroyed rn), but hey, if it works!

I liked Selma Lagerlöf's The Treasure, so I'm really looking forward to this film (and Gustaf Molander later directed the Swedish A Woman's Face, with Ingrid Bergman!).

*It's the 10th of January, Ingmarsarvet is no longer available on the Filmarkivet. Your best bet is to beg about, or search about. It's a shame it still isn't up, since it was an official way for people to enjoy the film. Vingarne is still up, but not sure for how long.
