scifirenegade: Herr Veidt lying down on a sofa. No idea what he's thinking. (connie)
1. What is your all time favorite book?
Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince. It came at exactly the right moment of my life. It changed everything. The fox bit makes me cry everytime.

2. What is your all time favorite movie?
Back to the Future. Again, the film came at exactly the right period of my life (the whole trilogy, in fact), and it stuck.

3. What are you reading right now?
Besides uni things, Gay Berlin. It's always Gay Berlin. Found another book about film people in exile, so I read the intro to that. Does a really long The Sound of Music fanfic count?

4. What is your favorite show on TV?
Doctor Who, forever.

5. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
What is, essentially, Spanish 50 Shades, but with more "Visit Andaluzia" ad vibes. And the main character is both #notlikeothergirls and not #notlikeothergirls. At least she leaves him, 'cause boy, he sucked.

Here

1. Would you rather have a fun job that doesn't pay well or a boring job that does?
I am a simple man, and I like boring, repetitive tasks. Ever unchanging, predictable. You could say my area is boring, I wish those who deal with history and art were so well paid.

2. Would you sacrifice your morals for a job?
Nee. My Nan taught me well.

3. Would you ever take a job that requires you to be in costume?
Depends on the costume.

4. What is your fantasy job?
A very crappy thief.

5. Would you like fries with that?
With my very crappy thieving?

Will eventually do the rest of the Snowflake Challenge (and first, the Veidtwatch ranking), but for now, have a silly.

1. Have you taken notice of which films are nominated for Oscars this year?
No, had to go to the Letterboxd homepage to see them (I barely go to the homepage, rip to my buddies there)

2. Do you plan to watch the Oscars ceremony?
No.

3. How many of this year's Oscar nominated films have you seen?
Wicked. It was fine.

4. Do you plan to see more/any of the Oscar nominated films before the Oscars ceremony?
Heard many a good things about Conclave, and I quite liked the first part of Dune, so I want to see the new one.

5. Do you generally seek out and watch the film that wins Best Picture?
Not really. They usually come to me. (Counted, only seen 24)

1. What is the oldest object in the room with you?
Not counting books, since I have quite a few old ones. After my grandmother's death (starting ln a high note here), I inherited some of her stuff. The oldest being:

  • Two small ceramic boxes, which I use to store my earrings. Nan would be proud.

  • A brooch with a Fragonard drawing repro in enamel. It's broken :(

  • Nan collected porcelain dolls. I have one. I own one of my nightmares.

2. What is the newest?
Two books: Murdle Volume 1 (I've been obssessed) and a quite fancy Kafka's Metamorphosis.

3. What is your favorite object in the room with you?
Little bunny plushie I've owned since day one of my life. Yeah.

4. What is the most valuable object?
My computer.

5. What is the ugliest object?
The doll. Sorry, Nan, but you know I never liked the dolls. Still love the little thing.
